Many people have asked me what working with Robert Duvall was like. To say it was
like winning the actors lottery is a huge understatement. Not only did I learn a lot
from him as a performer, but as one of his "little Chinese girls", I was privileged
to get to know the man behind the living legend status.
At first, me and the other girls only addressed The Man as Mr. Duvall or sir. But
soon he became our beloved Bobby D once it was obvious what a kid at heart he is.
On set, he was always dancing around to stay loose between takes, teasing us, or on
the flip side, recruiting us to play pranks on people. If we had any questions or
problems, Bobby would either turn into a pitbull on our behalf or pull us aside to
offer up guidance and kind words of encouragement.
It's hard to encapsulate what I learned about Robert Duvall in a few paragraphs. He's
one of those people whose actions speak louder than words. For instance, one night
at dinner, Bobby threw me for a loop when he offered to sit down with me for an hour
long interview. I never would've asked this of him since I was working with him as
an actor not a journalist. But I think he made the offer because he just wanted to
help me out in any way he could. That's the kind of guy he is. So, from stories about
his most prized possession from Marlon Brando, to insight into his acting techniques,
and an apology to Canadian actors for past negative comments, we covered a lot of
ground. Thanks Bobby D.

"Sitting Down With Superman"
An interview with actor Brandon Routh who struck me as incredibly humble, kind, and slightly incredulous about being catapulted into fame as the new Man of Steel in Superman Returns.

"Lex A Lot"
Kevin Spacey's the man! He's a chameleon when it comes to inhabiting roles and creating unforgettable characters. Here he tries to get serious talking about playing Lex Luther, arguably pop culture's most iconic villain. But about a minute into our interview I just wanted to make him giggle like a school girl.

"Black is Whack!"
And I mean that in the best possible way! I first saw Jack Black in High Fidelity and it's no surprise to me that he's headlining his own comedic vehicles now. For Nacho Libre he wears stretchy pants. 'Nuff said.

"Kickin' It with Kanye"
This was my first gig for ET Canada and I was scared shitless at the thought of facing one of pop culture's most controversial figures. Rumor has it he eats reporters for breakfast. But Kanye was super cool and let me live out my rock star fantasy by jamming with me during our interview.
